Job Summary:

The Senior Account Executive (SAE) plays a crucial role in managing day-to-day operations for assigned brand(s), ensuring client needs, deadlines, and budgets are met. Acting as a liaison between clients and internal agency departments, the SAE facilitates effective communication to deliver high-quality service and products.

Essential Functions:

  • Execution of Work: Proactively manages project deliverables in collaboration with project management, leading tactical workstreams.

  • Client Management: Acts as a liaison with client partners, discussing projects with support from supervisors.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Supports cross-functional teams by managing client projects with supervisor support.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Drives and owns assigned projects from development through deployment with oversight.

  • Partners with project management on financial deliverables such as estimates, invoices, and budgets.

  • Attends and actively participates in regular meetings with finance and project management.

  • Ensures accurate and timely project delivery while adhering to agency and client processes.

  • Provides prompt, well-thought-out responses to project requests and follow-up questions.

  • Generates internal and client-facing reports, showing clear updates on project status and budget allocations.

  • Designs informative PowerPoint presentations.

  • Develops and maintains positive professional relationships with internal agency members and client counterparts.

  • Understands client needs and effectively communicates them to the internal team.

  • Takes a positive and collaborative approach to problem-solving, working cross-functionally to achieve goals.

  • Collaborates with the cross-functional team daily to enhance efficiency in client status meetings.

  • Demonstrates willingness to learn different channel management methods such as print, digital, and multimedia.

  • Participates in regular meetings with finance and accounting to prepare proper financial reporting/billing and provide updates to supervisors.

  • Reviews hours/expenses against ongoing projects with project management.

  • Reviews scopes for individual jobs with project management.

  • Develops in-depth knowledge of assigned category and stays updated on relevant brand, category, and competitor information.

  • Participates in weekly client status meetings regarding assigned tactical projects to keep clients informed of project status.

  • Operates within established client and agency processes, understanding the interdependencies of each role.

  • Maintains concise and accurate client status and contact reports to recap conversations and outline decisions made.

  • Assists with training and mentoring junior staff if applicable.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience required.
